Alaska Youth Advocates’ POWER Teen Center -
Throughout the 2012-2013 season of Arctic Entries proceeds will be donated to the POWER Teen Center. POWER is peers reaching out to at-risk youth, providing them with the information, support and resources they need to improve their lives. Donated funds might go to their outreach case manager, counseling service office (A partnership with Anchorage Community Mental Health Services and University of Anchorage Alaska Masters in Counseling and Psychology), outreach supplies (sock, gloves, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, etc.) or food/snack items for drop-in center.
POWER Outreach Workers provide their at-risk peers with information, support and resources.
